Singapore series- Food, Food, Food!

By the time I remember to take pictures of my food for the blog, I'm usually half way through devouring my meal. DANG IT!!!So I apologize, there will not to a lot of photos here.
I still thought it might be helpful to share with you some of my favorite places to eat in Singapore.

Paradise Dynasty- This restaurant makes the cutest colorful Xiao long boa (shanghai dumpling) I've ever had. Each color dumpling has a different flavor : original, foie gras, cheesy, sichuan, garlic, crab etc. Each flavor was delicious and interesting.

Fika- I wondered into this cute scandinavian cafe when i went to the Millennia Walk that i mentioned in this previous post. Since it was a cafe, I didn't have high expectation for their entrĂ©e. The minestrone soup and the crawfish pasta was surprisingly very good! They were so flavorful but not too heavy or salty.

Some of my favorite Japanese restaurants were:
Itacho Sushi- This franchise restaurant is popular in many parts of the world, their sushi is amazingly fresh!
Koh Grill & Sushi Bar- This place serves my favorite salmon soup and Bento boxes for great prices!

** These two place tends to have a huge queue, so you may want to make reservation or avoid going on  the weekends.

Other areas to check out with great restaurants:
Holland village
Bugis (Across from Bugis Junction)
Chinatown

Last but not least, don't forget to try some food in hawker centers or food courts, they tend to have the best food at the best prices.
